Senior Grants Manager

Andrew joined Community Legal Aid in 2014 as the Grants Manager. Prior to joining CLA, Andrew was a Grants Writer & Specialist at Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD) where he wrote grant proposals and designed programs for the agency’s antipoverty efforts, including fuel assistance, elder services, summer youth employment, financial literacy, and ABCD’s two alternative high schools. At ABCD, he took the lead on writing a successful proposal to the Walmart Foundation for ABCD’s substance abuse recovery high school, the first grant to be awarded by Walmart to the organization. Prior to ABCD, Andrew worked as a Development & Communications Consultant for Save the Harbor/Save the Bay in Boston, MA and, before that, he was a Program Director at Spectrum Health Systems. Andrew is a contributing writer for Spare Change News, the nation’s oldest street newspaper based out of Boston, MA.
