From 2007 to 2015, Helene worked at the HIV/AIDS Representation Project and Single Stop Program at the Legal Aid Society of New York’s Harlem Community Law Office. From 2015-2018, she worked in the Special Education Unit and Disability Advocacy Project at the Legal Aid Society of New York’s Brooklyn Neighborhood Office. She also served as a Commissioner of the Parks and Recreation Commission for the City of Holyoke and is a member of the Hampden County Bar Association. Helene joined Community Legal Aid in 2018.
