Before joining Community Legal Aid, Omar worked as a Disability Specialist for almost a decade representing Social Security claimants at every step of the application process, including representing claimants at the administrative hearing level. Omar has been a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) since 2018 and the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR) since 2021, after acquiring a certification as an EDPNA (Eligible for Direct Payment Non-Attorney). Omar is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) and the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR).
